Northwestern Energy offers a FREE service on their website www.northwesternenergy.com called Calcu-Pal that allows Montanans to calculate their utility costs based on a variety of factors - thermostat setting, additional appliances, type of windows, etc.
I don't know if anyone out ther has read Pickens Plan. I have been intrigued for some time by the commercials by T. Boone Pickens touting his plan. I finally managed to get online this morning to check it out. Check it out yourself at

Effective July 1, 2008 you will begin to notice an increase in your gas bill. The Ontario Energy Board approved changes to the rates Union Gas charges its customers. For most customers the total increase will amount to $254.99 based on an annual volume of 2,600 m 3.
The City of Rocky Mount, North Carolina will see an increase in natural gas rates this month. City officials say that this increase is due to the rising costs of coal and oil.
