The market has continued to reverse a longer term trend of oil rising and stocks falling.
As of July 1 the Kentucky State legislature increased the fuel tax by 1.5 cents which brings our tax to .23 per gallon now. The increase is set to reset once per year based on the state's average wholesale price of gas. The funds are used to repair our state's roadways. 
The oil price bubble is unfairly taxing American families andrestricting our nation's economic potential. I just finished reading an article by Jim Gillespie, a commercial real estate coach, in which he discusses peak oil and its impact on the commercial real estate business. But first of all, what does Peak Oil mean? 
I just read about all the oil that has been found in western North Dakota. State officials say that North Dakota may set an oil-production record this year. It would surpass the 52.6 million barrels produced in 1984.
I am sure that many of you have already received the email that explains which companies are buying foreign oil and which are not. In our industry we burn a lot of gas and I believe we could make an impact on this issu. 
The big news in mortgage pricing is oil. Again today, oil topped $143 a barrel and this means that the price of almost everything goes up. When the prices go up, that means inflation. When you have inflation, that means that mortgage rates, that hate inflation, go up.
Gas expense is becoming one of my biggest expenses due to $5 a gallon gas. OUCH!!!
