The day should have been long ago when homeowner association directors with little understanding, actually run Homeowner Associations. The Standard & Poor's/Case Shiller Index was released Tuesday, January 29th, showing an 8.4% drop in real estate prices in November, 2007 from November 2006. Case Shiller is a highly reported index that is alleged to be more accurate than the statistics provided by the Realtor associations.

After reading Mary Carmichael's interesting piece in the Boston Globe regarding the impact downsizing baby boomers would have on their local real estate market place, I wondered what other issues our community should be dealing with in regards to anticipating and serving the needs of a variety of generations.
