Sometimes when I view a property I am flabbergasted, shocked, and maybe a bit upset. I am usually relieved that it was my time and not the Buyer Prospects' time that was wasted. Once again--a buyer's ability to search REALTOR.com and the web is ONLY the beginning. 
Well after the dreadful morning I've had today finally something positive. I just refreshed my email to find some good news, or atleast an ego boost!!
Am wondering about the appeal and impact of home video tours now available (in beta version) on realtor.com, and guessing that few agents are posting them. NAR: Sales slip 9% year-over-year in July
Immediately after you sign up for a free blog you get an invoice for $0. It may seem cute at first, but it's obvious, this will be a pay for service to the tune of monthly fees in the near future. I'll be using it until then.

If you have enhanced listings on Realtor.com, you can now upload Video Tours directly to that site through your control panel. Just more proof that video is the up and coming way to market real estate.
I set up a blog on Realtor.com today. They have launched a new blog at www.talk.realtor.com and are encouraging agents to set up an account etc. for free, I took the bait and posted a few articles, thinking hey, this could be another form of exposure.

I am considering buying a few zip codes, but I am hesitant because personally, when I am on a website searching for something and there are ads running along the sides of the page, I ignore them. I wonder if others do the same thing?

I have been reading the posts regarding Zillow - particularly at BloodhoundBlog and I must say that deep down inside (right up front too) I am excited about somebody giving realtor.com a run for their money and I welcome new models and approaches to doing business. 
The site now allows owners and real estate agents to plant virtual "For Sale" signs in their Zillow.com front yards at no cost to the agent or homeowner.
