Okay, so we all know that the price of gas is high. This is not secret to anyone who has to drive. The average gas price around the nation is $4.09/gallon. You think that is bad, try getting gas in San Francisco, where gas is around $4.75/gallon.

Sadly, due to the slowing economy and dropping home values, many homeowners find themselves facing foreclosure.
So, these have been popping up ALL OVER. People are trying to recruit real estate agents, mortgage brokers and even Bingo Ball cleaners to sell a software program that can 'help' people pay off their mortgages in record time.

We have all seen the letters from Nigeria promising millions for a small amount of help with the acquisition of property. They are obviously scams and yet they must work because we all still get these things on a daily basis.
I write this post because I just received in the mail a "Designation of Homestead Request Form". 
I have seen a few postings in the past on this issue, but it is worth bringing up again for the agents and consumers that haven't seen it.

A variation on an old one. A seeming innocent email comes in from a well known source saying things are deactivated.
