Missoula, Montana was recently named Ninth in the category of "Greenest Commuter Towns" by AARP. This was based on a 2007 Census Bureau Estimate that 8.91% of Missoulians bike or walk to work.
Here's a great early morning or evening walk in Downtown Newnan. Just park at the old courthouse square, and perhaps grab a cup of java at Espresso Lane Coffee Shop, and you're ready to go!

Sunnyside Beach in Steilacoom is a great place to spend the day. The beach is sandy with large lawn area, volleyball setup, BBQ, restrooms. 
I saw this and had to pass it on. With gas prices soaring, the "walkability" of a neighborhood is very important. Take a look at this sight but beware...it can be addicting!!

Homeward Bound is a 5K Walk that's part of a statewide effort to fight homelessness. The walk will take place in Lafayette, Bloomington, Evansville, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Jeffersonville, Michigan City, and South Bend. All money raiased will go directly to the local organizations.
