You can't put a price on sunhine--year around! We moved to Florida from a northern state. We find that we can golf,walk,boat,swim,garden all year around. That enhances our quality of life. We like maintaining an active lifestyle throughout the year rather than seasonally. Florida does have hurricanes and that is a negative.
