As I have been telling Sacramento folks considering a short sale...there IS HOPE! OF COURSE you can buy another home....try THAT though, with a foreclosure or "strategic default."Great post from a fellow real estate professional.

This is an important thing to know.
While it all IS very confusing, I will stick to my guns and say this: a Short Sale is ALWAYS better than a Foreclosure. And, with Gvt. loans now incorporating the HAFA program, many sellers may get that $3,000 (doesn't apply to investment properties).
