Yesterday afternoon I was able to catch the Oprah show. She had guests on that practiced freeganism. Freeganism is when a person dumpster dives for food and other household items, not because they have to because they choose to. There was one younger couple (a doctor and an engineer) that has been doing it for a couple of years now, they showed the things they had dug out of the garbage. I read in the newspaper this morning that the FDA has deemed meat and milk from cloned animals to be safe. It is not being sold in stores right now, but it is to come. I think this is WRONG!!! I can't see how anything that is genetically altered can be safe. It did not state in the paper if when it is sold to the public if it will have to be disclosed or not. But I will not buy it.
