Wesley Chapel's newest mall, The Shops At Wiregrass will have its grand opening on October 30th.  The three department stores:  JC Penney, Macy's, & Dilliard's have already opened.  Barnes & Noble will have its "Friends and Family" preview party on October 29, 2008 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

New Tampa:

New Tampa is an affluent community located just north of the University of South Florida, University Community Hospital, and Moffitt Hospital in Tampa.  Its location, beautifully landscaped communities, community clubhouses and amenities make it a one of Tampa's most highly desirable and prestigious areas to live in.

New Tampa has many different communities to choose from including:

Arbor Greene, Grand Hampton, Hunter's Green, Cory Lake Isles, Tampa Palms, West Meadows, and nearby Seven Oaks where single family home prices range from $200,000 to $3,000,000.  Amenities in these communities include lushly landscaped entrances which may be gated and guarded, pools, tennis courts, playgrounds, and clubhouses with fitness centers.

Shopping is available at the University Mall, and three new malls are under construction in neighboring Wesley Chapel-The Grove, The Shops at Wiregrass, and The Cypress Creek Town Center, totaling around 2.5 million square feet.

New Tampa has a recently opened recreation center, and is home to Flatwoods Park.  Additionally, there are plans to open a new Nature Park.

Below is a May, 2008 slideshow of the Shops at Wiregrass, under construction in Wesley Chapel. The Wesley Chapel mall is scheduled to open this fall and work is progressing. Store managers and owners who will be relocating here already are starting to call me regarding buying houses, and I have had three calls this past week alone. Meanwhile, work on the Cypress Creek Town Center remains stopped pending resolution of permitting issues.
