The real estate market in Kingstowne (Alexandria) VA saw a noticeable improvement in the number of townhome sales.  The number of townhomes for sale that went under contract was up from 6 units last month to 13, and as you can see, most of that inventory that was scooped up by ready buyers in the $400,000 - $499,999 price range.

This is a view of the sun setting behind my house aftter the DC Snowpacalypse.  This is the one section of undisturbed snow before my kids and I started to frolick :-)  Everything looked so beautiful and peaceful.

These are icicles hanging over the front porch.  Eye-yeye-yeye!  Luckily we knocked them down already.  Can you imagine these coming down?  Local authorities issued warnings for people walking around in the city because there are much larger and longer icicles hanging down from the buildings in Old Town Alexandria and in Washington DC.

Hi All,
I've gotten some very postive feedback from the photo that I took from yesterday's snow.  I've seen on occasion a virtual postcard-like image that turns your photo into a digital postcard.  It puts a 'stamp' image and looks like a handheld postcard and you can write some custom text.  I'd love to create something like that for the photo that I took and send it so my family on the west coast.

This is my Wordless Wednesday photo for this week, although if we get ONE MORE SNOWSTORM, I can imagine that people here in Washington DC will have a lot of WORDS! ;-)
I'm looking onto my next door neighbors' backyard, there's actually a swimming pool underneath all that snow!  But look at the way the snow covers the trees, makes you want to get the Christmas lights back out!
