Or at least I think it's a hawk.  Doesn't look like an eagle to me, but I could be wrong.
One of the reasons why I love relaxing on the deck is we have great views.  There are a variety of birds, including hummingbirds, I could watch them all day.
Yesterday, I noticed a strange sound, and knew it was a big bird.  I stepped out and saw this hawk really high up in a nearby tree.  I was able to get this picture on the strongest zoom on my little digital camera.
