Hitting the nail right on the head here.  I make a point to review the paperwork with buyers during the initial consultation so that can understand how the process works.  Remember, a real estate contract is a legally binding document.  Doesn't it make sense to have a copy of the documents that you'll be signing before you find a house?  Even in California, buyer agents agree!  Getting the information is an important first step.
