I don't know the specifics but I have been told that Keller Williams-Austin was recognized as # 1 in the US at at the Keller Williams Convention... Is this correct?  Fill me in.....
My office sits right on top of Keller Williams (1801 S. Mopac) and I just want to congratulate you all!  That is wonderful.....I hope everyone had fun in Atlanta...

Short Sale Lenders are learning... - 02/08/08 07:55 PM
I just want to say that I close about 4-5 short sales per month.  Until recently, I would be all but ignored by the loss mitigator and pretty much at their mercy.... Lately the turnaround on return calls have gotten so much better.  They still may have a voice recording that states that they return the call the next day or something but for the most part they are moving much quicker.
I have also been receiving the approval letters more quickly and some of them are even emailing them to me instead of faxing... I think this is great..

You know that $1.00 fee that is normally collected from the buyer and seller on the closing statement?  Here in Texas, we have to collect $1.00 from each party on behalf of the Texas Department of Insurance (when an Owners Policy and Mortgage Policy are issued) and it goes into an account that covers claims resulting from shortages in Trust Funds or Escrow Accounts of impaired Title Agents.  Effective April 1st, 2008 the fee will change to $5.00.  It is still not that much of a fee but when you are giving out estimates to potential buyers or sellers every dollar … (5 comments)
