Last night we had dinner with one of our old neighbors in Ashburn, VA.  It has been eight years since our move to the Waterford area.  The lifestyles are so different and I do love them both.
  My heart aches for the closeness we shared when we lived on Brownstone Court.  Of course, it was our first real home.   We looked across our backyard to our neighbors and many times ask them  to walk on over and  join us for a glass of wine or a cup of coffee after our family dinner was over.  We would sit outside chatting … (0 comments)

Negotiating Lease Agreements - 07/22/08 07:24 AM
I just had my clients finally finish signing a lease for a home that they will occupy soon.  It  was the most difficult and time consuming endeavor that Ihave ever experienced. I represnted a family of ten who are relocating from Florida, a most difficult situation for not only them, but also for me.  Not too many landlords want 12 people in their home for any length of time- not family, not tenants.  But, I must explain, this is a special family. The mom worked in Florida with the legal system who placed children for adoption in private homes.  Four of my client's ten children … (4 comments)
