The Kennedy family and Cape Cod - 07/31/08 04:08 PM
The Kennedys and the Cape

John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum is a multimedia exhibit designed to open a window on the days JFK spent on Cape Cod; days relaxing with family, days playing football with PT109 buddies, days spent sailing on the ocean to which he was so constantly drawn.
The exhibit features over 80 photographs spanning the years 1934 to 1963 and is arranged in thematic groupings to reflect … (1 comments)

A Personal Note on Keeping Focus - 07/29/08 09:23 PM

Last Saturday I spoke with my father who lives in Tennessee, he was heading up to Knoxville to see a woman he is dating and they,  had a great weekend planned.  On the agenda was attending church on Sunday to see a production of Annie to be performed by the younger members of the church.
Thankfully I received a phone call from my Dad late Sunday morning prior to turning on the T.V. or reading the paper..he said "I want you … (8 comments)

Beat Up-Time desk Blues - 07/17/08 07:59 PM
I happen to enjoy my office "up-time".  It is one of my most productive times sitting at a desk, we have a great in office color printer and I have minimal distractions.
However when the sun is shining here on Cape Cod and your stuck inside you can start feeling a little down in the dumps about being cooped up at your desk.
So here's a little tip to jump start your happier mood..grab a sheet of paper..(I always keep paper that only has printing on one side and use the blank side for scrap)...Then grab your favorite RED pen and … (5 comments)

Back To Basics - 07/08/08 08:55 PM
Even when the Real Estate business was booming, succeeding in the market required drive and commitment.  In today's challenging times these are attributes that are not only important they are a necessity!  In the fast paced world of cell phones, emails and voicemails I believe that we've lost touch with the "person".
Not only the client but our fellow Realtors and Ourselves.  It's something we see more and more...in the world of internet, emails, blogs, voicemails..you name it..we've lost touch with the power of a hand shake and a smile...No matter what, it always comes back to the foundation that works! So … (7 comments)

Inspiration from Poetry - 07/03/08 08:08 PM
Here is a quote I love..I was going through some old paper work tonight and came across it..thought I would share...
"Promise yourself to be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
Look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.
Think only of the best, work only for the best, and expect only the best.
Forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
Give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.
Live in the faith that … (7 comments)
