So remember that Florida condo that we bought (now almost a year ago)...?  The one that I said I would blog about, but then hardly mention on here...?  Well, it has finally reached a respectable level of "doneness".  (It's not DONE, and will probably never be DONE... but it has surpassed "presentable" and has attained "pretty cute" status.)
Our latest project was scraping wallpaper off the kitchen walls and repainting (a safe, boring beige) in there.  Between the refrigerator and the doorway leading into the kitchen is a big, empty wall that needed something.  We had tried our crate bookcase and then a table/desk, but neither … (1 comments)

2.  All the kitchen appliances stay:  side-by-side  refrigerator, gas range, microwave, and dishwasher.
3.  This house has a walk-in pantry that any user will go ga-ga over.  There’s plenty … (1 comments)

The kitchen is the heart of the home - whether you're a gourmet chef - or if you eat out most nights (like we do).

I don't know if that makes me feel proud and accomplished, or if it makes me feel like all of the other rooms we've worked on have been lackluster.
Like I mentioned before, I'm terrible about taking ‘before' pictures.  But, here is one ‘during' photo.  The bathroom was what I have termed "1990's Traditional Style".  You can see the wallpaper with all sorts of scrolly designs; and in the top corner, you can make out just a sliver of the beautiful brass Hollywood makeup lights fixture.  The cabinet was a honey oak color, but the finish was badly worn.
