Good news travels fast in Tulsa and the most recent good news is about Tulsa’s “Food for Kids” program getting the “Champions of Health” award.  On October 25th at 6 p.m. in the Tulsa Convention Center Ballroom, the Food for Kids backpack program will be presented with the highest honor of being the recipient of the Dr. Rodney Huey Memorial “Champions of Oklahoma Health” award. It's time, again, for Moody's Jewelry Store in Tulsa, Oklahoma to help local school kids get the new shoes they need.  While you can find dazzling diamonds and rubies at Moody's, you can also find tennis shoes for kids.  However, they are in need of more donations. 
This is for a great cause, as Moody's, the legendary Tulsa jewelry store, helps Family and Children's Services by collecting shoes for all school children.  They will be collecting now through August 13th.
