Closing Delays - How Come We Can Always Almost Make It? - 06/10/10 01:01 PM
As I sit here and ponder yet another delayed closing, I can't help but wonder "how come we can always ALMOST make it?"
Mr. Lender, when we ratified the contract, I called you and I emailed you, and I asked you if you could make this date. You indicated that you could. I then threw out the olive branch and offered, up front, an extension. You declined, and again confirmed that you could make the date.
Apparently you really meant that you could "almost" make it.
