How often do you hear those two statements together?   We, as Realtors (and consumers alike)  tend to operate from the standpoint of;  A buyers market or a seller's market, right?  However; right now I predict it is both.  If you think about the Corpus Christi market over the past several years I think you can certainly agree that we have been "VERY" blessed compared to many places in the country. Short sale success...OR....Christmas Miracle??? - 01/08/10 02:53 PM
I wanted to sharethis with all of you due to my in-ability to control my excitement!    After many years and many failed attempts I have successfully closed a short sale.
 
I know this may not seem like a BIG thing but let me tell you I have done my best for several years to avoid short sales.  I don't show them, I have avoided creating interest in them by my clients, if only to save them from all the hassle and the almost (I thought) inevitable dis-appointment in the end after the 60-120 waiting game.

1) What can I afford?A general rule of thumb is to multiply your gross monthly income times 25%. Contact your REALTOR or lender for specific qualifying which will determine what type of loan is best for you and what, if any, special grants or programs you may be eligible for.
