Just wanted to offer a bit of assistance for when you need to contact the MRIS Helpdesk.

Obviously you can call them at 1-888-838-8200

They are fairly quick at responding to emails sent to helpdesk@mris.net

But they have recently introduced another way to get a hold of them.  For those who dont want to wait on the phone or wait for an email response, they now offer WEB CHAT.  You can speak with a live person via the web.

At the moment it is kind of hidden and you need to know where to look for it.

 To access this great feature, login to www.mris.com
AFTER you login, look to the blue menu on the left
Click on Helpdesk and Support
Under the "General Help" section click on Web Chat
Read through the disclaimer and then "Click to access Remote PC Support or WEB CHAT
Scroll to the bottom of the next page and Type in your name
Click on "Choose a Representative" and select a name
Now click on the yellow button that reads "CLICK HERE!"

In minutes you will be able to get asssitance from a Helpdesk Technician.

For those of you that do not know already,  starting tomorrow Feb 15th,  MRIS will change the way that they calculate Days on Market Property (or DOMP).   At the moment, DOMP only resets after a property has been off the Market for 180 days(or after a listing has been sold or rented).   Starting tomorrow, this number will be cut in half.  Properties will only have to be off the market 90 days in order for DOMP to reset to zero.

WOO HOO!!!!!

For those of you who do not know.  As of today, MRIS has revamped their Keystone Photo Upload tool!  (Known as KPU)

New Features that begin today.

Starting today you can upload up to THIRTY photos Free!

You can now sort your photos in any order you like. 

You can add Captions and Descriptions to each photo. 

Did I mention it is FREE!

To begin using this tool on listings you already have, login to Keystone.

Click on Add/Update Listings

Search for your listing.

Click on the Edit icon next to your listing.

From the blue navigation menu on the left click on Listing and then click on Photo Manager.  You will see photos previously uploaded (if any) and you can now sort them and add remarks to them or add more photos.

Note that this program requires you to use Adobe Flash Player Version 9.0.47.  In the perfect world, your PC should automatically ask you if you want to install the most recent version of Flash player if you do not already have it.  But we know pcs are not always perfect.
