It's so easy in today's society to get scammed and never know it. We don't check our credit reports like we should and only become aware of problems AFTER the problems occur. Don't wait until you're in the market for a home to check your credit report - check it constantly. The credit bureaus offer one free credit report per year. There are THREE different credit agencies -- EACH agency will provide you with a report. That means you're entitled to three reports a year!!!! Checking this frequently will hopefully allow you to catch problems sooner.

The United Way Annual Day of Caring is a community-wide event that promises to promote the spirit and value of volunteering, increase the awareness of local non-profit service agencies, and demonstrate what people working together for the community's good can accomplish.  This year the Day of Caring occurred on October 3, 2007.  However, with the help of Jill Skelton with Piedmont United Way, the event was extended to a future date of October 17th, 2007.
