When my parents bought their first home in the 1960s, there was exactly one Realtor in town, and they went to him and he helped them find their home. When we bought our first home in the 1990s (pictured at the right), we asked our friends who their Realtors were and then chose from there. That's not how clients choose their Realtors any more. There's an avalanche of information on buying and selling a home available at the fingertips of clients - like Trulia - and clients use the internet to learn about the products and services they are interested in. … (4 comments)

Twitter is a remarkable tool - messages can become viral in seconds and a nearly infinite number of people can be exposed to your content...IF you use it properly.
Be sure to follow these rules to maximize your Tweets:
Tweet no more than 3-4 per hour. LESS tweeting actually increases the number of times people click on your links. Tweet at least 120 characters. Be sure you're tweeting during the highest rate of Twitter usage - Wednesdays at 3:00 pm and all day on Friday are best. Mondays, weekends, and holidays are the worst. Not so great - you've fallen prey to one of these 6 common mistakes:

Tweeting too often. Click through rates increase with LESS tweeting. More than 1 tweet per hour? Your click through rates will decrease dramatically, down to about about zero after 4 tweets per hour.
