Hey there -- its been a long time since I came on here and writen anything. I have been through this period of inefective meetings and breakfast clubs and insincere communication. I blame myself and from steering away what works. Its amazing to me to see this happen despite all the progress I made on the web when it wasn't really a "thing".

Are your websites mobile friendly? If not get ready for a big shake up on April 21, 2015. Google is favoring mobile friendly websites. This means if your website is not mobile friendly it could lose rankings. The idea here is that 50% of all web traffic is from mobile sources, (smart phones and tablets) and Google most likely wants to cash in on ad revenue.

There are a couple of good reasons why you should be friendly with home services companies. They know people - bottomline. They also have a strong handle on word of mouth referrals...This seems to be the case for a lot of the ones I run into. I work with kitchen specialists, granite companies, and a lot of home improvement companies. It is usually the same scenario. A lot of these comapanies want to get the word out too about their services. They would like to do it with very little advertising costs.

Today I got the shock of my life... I thought I had seen it all in the scams department. But here is the latest I ran across today....I was in the office of one of my new clients. We did a simple page count to see how many pages I had to optimize. I was shocked at this..... Check it out....According to the count there was 455 pages !!! The client was pretty sure there was only about 20 pages.... tops. But that wasn't the worst part.

My weekend was a total headache.....A colleague had me review his website. He wanted me to fix it, give it the proper SEO google treatment etc. When I looked at his site it was OK. Then I looked a little deeper and saw the problem up close......This guy had named every webpage the same name... Every title of his pages were exactly the same.
