video: Major Tool for Video freedom 'transcodeit.com' is my find for the month
- 08/06/08 02:15 AM
Up till today all my video was uploaded to several major sites and I would embed their code to run their flash players on my blogs. This is a good exchange and one I am pretty happy with.
There are times I have video that I do not want to send out the entire internet and Google Video's private video function makes the video too small anf degrades the quality.
Here is a website I was referred to today and it not only transcodes my video to Flash, but provides a non branded player to embed on my

Well I just finished my 5th listing video, I forgot that I made one back last fall so officially I have 5. I did shoot video of a house I sold. My clients were from out of state and they were getting on the plane the day after we wrote the offer. I wanted them to have something they could show family and friends at home, so I used Youtube to carry the message.

- 07/01/08 05:28 PM
I wanted to embed this video clip on to my profile page. I tried a few different ways and could not get it to work.
I see this as beneficial in that we can add another dimension to our profiles and make our profiles really come alive.
How can I get this idea infronto of the right people on AR to make it happen?

Wow, this was not expected. I have been really attacted to online video and Twittered Trulia yesterday to explain that I thought they should include seesmic or utterz style commenting in Trulia Voices. Another Voices real estate pro had already posted video before my two posts on Monday and Tuesday. This could be a very useful way of answering questions.
Here is the link to Trulia's Blog:

video: Single use Camera or FLIP Video pick your poison
- 05/28/08 02:09 AM
This post is to explain whether this is all worth the time
and trouble to have a digital still camera that also shoots video and
then go out an buy a new FLIP Video Camera. The claim is if
you have the Kodak Easy share V570 you can do everything with
one camera and the FLIP would be a waste of time. I agree on
the face of this position, but respectfully disagree for the following
1. A single use camera is great but the whole idea behind the FLIP is

I got my hands on the office FLIP VIDEO camera. Here is a quick look at this amazing little device. It will not replace my Sony Mini DV camcorder, but I can see where this can be used for some interesting applications. My overall first impression before turning it on that it was big and the plastic gave it a cheap feel, but after working with it a for few hours it is really growing on me.
I shot a video blog just a few minutes ago on my Green Screen setup with the FLIP and will post it

Video stailizer blog
The two videos below show the difference with the use of a
stabilizer. I purchased a Hague Mini Motion Stabilizer on
the internet for use with my Sony
HC38. This tool is really going to give me greater
flexibility to run tape in different situations. There is still
movement when you shoot by hand, however with the stabilizer the jerks
and shakes are smoothed out enabling me to now shoot while driving the

Okay here is another inspirational Video.
This video is only a minute fifteen seconds. FAMOUS FAILURES
I have seen some great posters on Lincoln and his tribulations. It is surprising to many as he is considered one of our greatest presidents. I like how this short puts together all these different people.
Enjoy and please comment especially if there are other famous failures that were not on this video.
