My husband and I are heading for the east coast............Are there any Active Rainer's living there? Or from Manhattan? I'd LOVE some ideas and tips of where to eat, what to see, and any advice. We've NEVER been there, and are totally looking forward to seeing all of the touristy stops. Empre State Building, Top of the Roc, Statute of Liberty, Ellis Island, and Manhattan itself. So, chime in! Share what you can about such a wonderful city - one that never sleeps I hear.
I will be taking lots of photos and will share upon my return.

A Day Trip from Mesa, Arizona - Traveling in the White Mountains in Arizona! - 09/20/07 04:30 PM
I just want all of you to know - especially those who "might" care, that I have been enjoying some time away from the computer for a change. My husband and I will be leaving for Manhattan on Monday and then board a cruise ship headed for the northeastern edge of our wonderful United States. We'll end up in Quebec and then head home..........so looking forward to this time away. I haven't forgotten all of you, but wanted you to know that I WILL be back.
