resale: Tips for Selling Your Home Faster - Without Reducing Your Price! - 04/11/08 06:34 PM
Sellers, listen up: There are myriad ways for you to sell your home without reducing, reducing, reducing your price. 1. Price it right!!! Yes, as your Realtor, I will do a comparative market analysis for you, meet with you, and make a suggestion as to a price "range." 2. Neutralize your home! Get rid of the wild colors, and generate more attention from buyers. If you have a "gold" wall, and a potential buyer doesn't like "gold," you will more than likely lose that buyer. Believe it or not, many people don't want to have to repaint the home to suit (19 comments)
resale: Rain Tips and Pieces of the Puzzle that are good to know! What Say You? - 03/30/08 12:17 AM
This is a post that will helpfully shed some light on the massive amount of information available on Active Rain as well as help each of us as we weed through the maze of ideas, of tips, hints, and people that we are introduced to on Active Rain. I'm sharing just "some" of the amazing stuff I've learned and am still learning on this wonderful meeting place. Hopefully, you will share anything else that I haven't covered that is especially meaningful or helpful to you. I've only come up with 40, so see if some of you can come up with more. (244 comments)
resale: Mesa, Arizona Real Estate Stats as of March 8, 2008! - 03/08/08 07:15 PM
I'm trying out my new found graph talents and providing information to consumers about the Phoenix Valley real market. One large area is the Mesa, Arizona market. I am including all listings - townhomes, apartment homes, and family homes in this survey of available listings. I am including Sold as of January 1, 2008, Active, Pending and Active with Contingency as of today, March 8, 2008. I have been noticing that more and more homes are pending! I will do an analysis of our market - now - compared to that of this same time last year. As I prepare these stats periodically, (6 comments)
resale: Creating a Graph - Just Go to Google and Type in CREATE A GRAPH!!! - 03/07/08 05:59 PM
Several of our Active Rainers have shared how to do a simple graph. Going to google and typing in "create a graph" took me to several options and I selected the Kids Zone how to. Pretty simple, actually. I opted for the pie chart, but may get more creative down the road. I'll bet some of you know how to do this stuff. Rather than just showing numbers, I wanted to draw a picture to show how our real estate market is doing as of today, March 7, 2008!!! I've included everything "sold" since January 1, 2008 and everything currently pending and everything (12 comments)
resale: What Is the BIG DEAL About Google, Real Estate Shows, Active Rain and Localism Posts? - 02/06/08 01:18 PM
I was thinking about an interesting "link" between Google, Real Estate Shows, Active Rain and Localism this morning. I am absolutely blown away about the power of the last three when it comes to Google Juice. At the suggestion of one of the many bloggers on the Rain, I signed up for Google Alerts for several terms. So that all of you who stop by can actually "see" what came up, I am including several of the links. One of my localism posts from last summer showed up on January 26!!! All but one of these posts have shown up in the last month. (22 comments)
