Reno's Riverwalk District in Downtown Reno runs along the Truckee River and is a local favorite place to go to cool off during our "Hot" summer nights!

Strolling along the river, watching a movie in the park, having  a cup of coffee or an ice cream cone are just a few of things you can do on any given summer evening in Reno. Reno's downtown area is what keeps locals and visitors flocking to this area.

June is a great month to watch baseball in Reno's downtown baseball park. With current temperatures still lingering in the low 70's and average June temperatures that should reach the high 80's and low 90's make going to see the Reno Aces play at home very enjoyable.

downtown reno: Don't Let The Closing Of The Rink On The River Keep You Off The Ice - 02/05/11 11:35 PM
Reno's Rink On The River is set to close this Super Bowl Sunday. Tomorrow will be your last day to get outside and enjoy one of downtown Reno's favorite winter activities. The rink had been scheduled to stay open until President's Day, but by closing two weeks early, operating costs will be reduced and  the City of Reno will save a few bucks.

Taking my family to the rink is one of my favorite things to do in Reno. The decision to close the rink early is a smart idea to help save a little extra $$$ for the City of Reno, who … (3 comments)
