We in this business are put in a position to make people think.
They come to us and want to buy or sell their home. Sometimes I have to say, and why ? I listen to their reasons and it is beyond me.
I have sold a home that I listed and the owner did not want to sell. I knew this and had, three times tried to talk her out of selling.

 When I was growing up I always thought about the older people that needed help. I was always drawn to open a door or carry a bag.
As the years went on I was able to help some ,taking them to the grocery store, bringing items when they could not get out etc.
Then my parents got old, and sick. I was called to care for them , and I felt that some of my training was to prepare me for what was going to happen.

Rain Rain go away - 05/19/10 09:26 AM
We have not had much of a spring here in northern Colorado. We have had snow and wind, until you are ok. that is enough.
Wind is great if you have a wind farm. When you are trying to be outside it get's old quick.
Last night we had tornado's, wind and rain that would not quit. It was nothing like last spring, but it brought back memories of the big one in Windsor CO.
I love our seasons, as you know if you read my blog. What happened to Spring? We really never had one.

Shriners Circus Fun - 05/15/10 09:40 AM
 I took my 4 year old twin grandsons to the Circus last night. We had a great time. It was a smaller circus but well worth it.
One of the boys rode the elephants and the pony, the other said no way. After he saw his brother ride the pony he said OK, so we bought another ticket, but when we got up close, he backed out. Oh well, they had fun and we had fun.
Would like to take them to a larger cirucs when it comes close by. They are ready to go again, I wonder if they will … (2 comments)

Buyers don't Listen - 05/14/10 10:23 AM
 Ever feel like your talking to deaf people or that they are just not listening to what you say?
I feel this with a lot of my young buyers, they say yes to everything , I make them look me in the eye when explaining the process, and I get this deer in the head lights look.
When I say you need to call one of the inspectors now and they say, " I don't think I want to pay for this the home looks fine", I have to start explaining again.

 This is a great time to list your home. When listing with an agent be honest about where you are. If you are behind in your loan, let us know, we will market your home differently or give you information for a home Modification loan to try and help you stay in your home.

Recently I commented on a blog, this person had received and e-mail about love, with horrible grammar, I said I was glad I had not been receiving these e-mails.
The next day I received an e-mail, it was from a women, you would think they would have changed the format, women, men. I decided Active Rain was not the place for this, I forwarded it to Active Rain and their immediate response was, they are no longer on this site.

Our wheather here in Colorado is known for it's change. If you don't like it , wait an hour it will change.
We have our seasons, which I love, I enjoy many sports in the winter as well as in the summer. I am never unhappy to stay home and catch up on paper work or read a good book if I get snowed in.
It never last's too long so just get busy.

I recently had a closing that was difficult from start to finish.
My buyers had good credit. The home they were purchasing had two kitchens, a family room card room, bar and kitchen in the basement.
Rural loan would not take it, they said it could be rented, we offered to take out the stove and cap it, no way they were done.
We got an extention from the seller, reluctantly they gave us time for another loan, got it done quickly, everyone is happy.
