Where do Santa's Reindeer go when Christmas has passed and they are gearing up for the next year?

It takes a lot of rest to be able to pull a sleigh and balance a set of antlers like that!

Cooking with Cat & Terri: Client Gifts from the Kitchen - 12/16/08 10:50 AM
Nothing says "You're Appreciated" like home baked goodies!!  So when my business partner, Cat Zwicker-Grant, suggested a baking day I was all over it.  We made our list, checked it twice, and were off to the store for supplies.


Let the baking begin!  Cat headed up the "cookie department"  and my job was all things chocolate.
Wonderful team work as usual!

 
The treat list included such taste tempting treats as:  sugar cookies, toffee, gingerbread men, pecan tarts, peppermint bark, and chocolate no-bake cookies.  We also had an unexpected candy outcome that resulted in Kahlua balls.  Yum!

The Christmas Season is upon us! 
It's time for Santa to head out and start shopping.  Let's head to Downtown Redmond and see what the local merchants have to offer.
 

Dawson Station is a great place to start, with it's many offerings all from one parking spot!
Christmas Cards are a must, so let's start at Shelf Life Books.  Pick out your cards, a Christmas book for the kids, and a gift for your favorite reader.  Have a nice latte and a seat and get those cards filled out ASAP!

I was just reading another post that sparked this question again in my mind: 
"Should prospects surfing my website be required to register to obtain property information?"
Currently registration is required on my site by way of an email address.  I do not require a phone number.  My line of thought is that I do want to know who's on my site, but I don't want to scare them away before they get started. 
An email is less "scary" than the thought of a "pushy agent" picking up the phone and giving you a call.  I think some folks would … (20 comments)

Holiday Starlight Parade - Downtown Redmond, Oregon (LOCALISM FEATURED) - 12/01/08 02:23 PM
Thanksgiving has barely passed and we just couldn't wait to usher in the Christmas Season!
What better way than Redmond's annual Holiday Starlight Parade!  The parade, held in Downtown Redmond, Oregon, starts at dusk and is filled with beautifully lit entries of all shapes and sizes.  Even the horses had twinkle lights!  Although I've lived in Redmond for eight years, this is my first Starlight Parade and I must say it couldn't have been a better first.  The weather was unseasonably warm with only a light jacket needed.  And just in case you got a little chilly, many local merchants had … (38 comments)
