"The oil market is selling off because the early indications show Ike didn't do as much damage as feared," said Chris Jarvis, senior analyst at Caprock Risk Management."
In fact, oil was as low as $98.46 a barrel today -- the lowest since February 26th -- during a special trading session set up today (Sunday) to deal with the mess that's currently got Wall Street all in shambles.

I really don't know quite what to make of that statement by Jarvis. Maybe we could read into it that if Hurricane Ike never existed, maybe oil would be lower than that $98.

Food for thought:
If a friend or family member seeks your services in being his, hers or their agent, it could be the opportunity of a lifetime, for that person will have come to you for the professional that you hold yourself out to be. Needless to say, that person apparently holds you in high esteem and it is now your opportunity to shine like maybe you've never shown before.

The Dark Side Of Reverse Mortgages - 09/06/08 06:51 PM
I've previously commented on reverse mortgages...... in a negative manner. I do so again!
Personally, whenever I see media cracker jacks hyping some product or position, I cannot help but feel that Madison Avenue is in the process of attempting to screw, blue and tattoo the public.
So it is with reverse mortgages. Personally, I have had only one experience with this type of loan, but that one experience, as far as I am concerned, was enough to last a lifetime, and because of it I will probably be Devil's Advocate Number One against reverse mortgages for the rest of my … (5 comments)
