FHA has extended the spot approval til 2/1/10 and spot approvals will be eliminated 2/1/10.
Apparently they will allow currently approved condo projects to be valid for 2 years from 2/1/10.
New approvals are expected to take 8-12 weeks.

Specific to California.......I have been approached by buyers as well as several colleagues of mine about writing multiple offers at once on various properties and see which ones win.........
In California, if a buyer writes up a mulitple offers and those offers are accepted by the various sellers that buyer is technically responsible (0 comments)

One of the biggest boo boo's a buyer makes in presenting offer on bank owned properties is not doing their research ahead of time and not writing a clean offer.
The bank owned properties generally speaking have at least 2 if not 3 appraisals and BPO's(Broker Price Opinions) before deciding on (0 comments)

Most cities do not require. Many of the older neighborhoods are seeing deterioration of the sewer systems.
