This is one of those Grandparent moments. We think she is pretty nice and had to feature her here today.
We wish she was coming to our house tonite but Trick or Treating with our grand- children will occur over the internet or by phone.
So, if you don't have any grand kids coming over, treat the kids that are coming to your door just as you would your own. We do.
I have my mask and  everything ready to answer the door...I try to be as spooky as possible to join in the fun..........there's the doorbell now....gotta go!

Sailors Pines is  a privately owned preserve of the stately Michigan White Pine where the public is welcome to visit this glimpse of our state's past.  Near Croton Pond, stands a testament to Michigan's past, a virgin old growth forest of stately white pines, towering over 100 feet tall and up to 24 inches in diameter.  A small plaque marks the entrance which dedicates this forest to the original owners, William and Elizabeth Sailors. The Sailors came from Indiana and became engaged in the lumbering business here in Michigan in the late 1800's.

Okay, I admit the Grand Raggidy Roller Girls have me hooked! We attended last Friday night's bout against the The Sin City Neander Dolls of Las Vegas, my first live roller derby and WOW!! I AM IMPRESSED. I think I need season tickets.....NOW!

And you thought Roller Derby disappeared in the 80's?  Oh, NO! It is alive and well and thriving here in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  The local league is called The Grand Raggidy Roller Girls and is comprised of 3 teams, The Blue Collar Broads, the Roustabout Rollers, and the  Everyday Belles.
They have an All Star Bout scheduled here in Grand Rapids, Michigan at the Deltaplex Saturday night at 7 pm with the Sin City Roller Girls.  The doors open at 6 pm. Tickets are $10.00 pregame ( available through Ticketmaster) and $15.00 at the door.

I write this after many months of talking about the possibility of going to a paperless solution.  Within 2 weeks I will embark on the trail of my first transaction with at least minimal paper. I started this journey at a NAR convention where I saw a demonstration of a tablet computer that uses a digital pen to write on the face of the computer and have whatever you wrote applied to the document below.
That got my interest.... in my 30 plus years doing this, I have never seen a transaction that even after conversation with the buyer an adjustment doesn't need … (8 comments)

 This is my very first entry into Blog world and I thought I would tell you about our MAR Convention experience at the Soaring Eagle Casino in Mount Pleasant, Michigan this past week.
 We just returned from the Michigan Association of Realtors Convention in Mount Pleasant and are eager to implement all the new ideas, suggestions, and techniques we gathered at all the seminars. Most of the ones we chose were technology oriented and best of all, they were worth Continuing Education credits. To top off the Convention was Legal Update which is also included in Continuing Education credits.
