grand rapids attractions: Antique Road Show Highlights Grand Rapids Michigan
- 04/08/09 10:03 AM
PBS's popular TV show, Antiques Roadshow, will highlight Grand Rapids Michigan in April. The 2 Grand Rapids shows were filmed last summer in August 2008. Local airings are scheduled for Monday, April 20th & April 27th, at 8 pm, but check your local listings for more accurate information for your area. We are anxious to see what the Roadshow has selected for our Grand Rapids area, though I think we will see people from all over the state and bordering states, not just Grand Rapidians bringing their treasures in for evaluation. Cannonsburg Michigan is a small community northwest of Grand Rapids. It is included in the Forest Hills School District and has had residential housing growth in the last ten years. There are many elite homes built in this area because of the natural scenery, prestigious public school system, and proximity to downtown Grand Rapids. The small village of Cannonsburg has a long history, as evidenced by the historic buildings which comprise the commercial hub of the village today. First, and our personal favorite, is The HoneyCreek Inn, pictured above. We have been enjoying the casual atmosphere and the wonderful
