Lowell is small city on the Flat River just east of Ada & Grand Rapids. In fact, it takes us about fifteen minutes to drive there, which we do quite often. Lowell ShowBoat Sizzlin’ Summer Concert Series 2010. Every Thursday night this summer, there is a FREE CONCERT from 7 to 9pm at the Riverwalk in Lowell on the Showboat stage. The concerts are wheelchair accessible, free parking, there is bleacher seating or bring your own chair. Labor Day Weekend 2009 has a lot to offer for families here in Grand Rapids, MI. Celebration on the Grand is hosting free outdoor concerts, Sept 10-12, along with Taste of Grand Rapids - a great way to visit fine Grand Rapids restaurants in one place and sample fare from their chefs. There will also be fireworks, a Family Festival, with free activities for children. Something for everyone, come to Downtown Grand Rapids and celebrate the end of summer with a bang!
