HELP!!  Is there anybody out there that can help me on putting an R symbol after the REALTOR? I got the accent codes for MacIntosh Intel processor but I still could not use the symbol R for the REALTOR even after following the instruction.  I have tried everything I could but still unsuccessful. I hope somebody out there knows how to do it. I would appreciate any help on this subject matter.  It has been bothering me that I cannot do it, other from that I love my MacIntosh.  The problem comes up because I am using Windows in a MacIntosh computer.
 

BUYER'S MARKET!!  Don't you think this is the best time right now to purchase a home whether it is the first time or not.? There are so many homes out there now that you can get the choice of what you want at a good price.  If you are looking to invest, it applies as well.  Everybody seems to be scared of the market the way it is now but if you think about it from another point of view, you would really blame yourself when time comes and it turns around into a seller's market again and have missed the  boat.  Why are we scared?  I wish I had the money to invest because I would pick up a few properties myself.  If we can only journey to the future and see what it would turn out to be,  we would all be rich!!  How about that?

I am new to this and have done only two blogs but it does not seem like anybody is interested in my topics since I am not getting any comments. Does everybody get comments on their posting? Anybody care to help me out here?  What am I not doing right?  Topics, I guess just like real estate in locations, location is important here.  I also just posted an MLS listing but I cannot add 2 more pictures.  I was able to do one and the next two would not lined up.  I tried to follow the instruction but cannot seem to be able to do it right.  I guess I have to practice more.  Well, I will keep trying until I get this right and hopefully with all your help I would be able to master it.  Who says it was easy anyway?  Even my son was shock to see Mom is doing blogs.  
 

The Governor has just recently signed and passed the new proposal of dropping the property tax by an average of 7% this year and more in subsequent years under this agreement.  This would apply to all Florida homeowners including permanent and part-time residents as well as the commercial property owners.

The second phase of the tax plan --increasing homestead exemption-- will be placed in special election to be held Jan. 29.  The Florida voters would be asked to change the state constitution and to approve this second phase of the tax plan.  Under this proposal, homesteaded property would be given a 75% exemption for the first $200K in value .  For example, on a $200K home, the homestead exemption would be $150K leaving only $50K to be taxed.  For the next $300K in value, another 15% exemption will be allowed.  There would not be any further exemption for homes that are valued over $500K.  The minimum homestead exemption would be $50K instead of $25K.  This tax break would apply to permanent FL resident's primary homes only.  Existing Florida home owners will have the one time choice of selecting between the new plan or keep the Save Our Homes Protection until they move when the voters passed this proposal on Jan. 29.

Most probably nobody knows of this little town called Ruskin.  So let me start by saying that this is a historic community located on the South shores area of Tampa Bay, the Little Manatee River and the Ruskin Inlet, approximately located 16 miles southeast of Tampa.  This town was founded in 1908 by an English writer named John Ruskin.  Historically Ruskin has been an agriculture and fishing community.  Also, has anybody heard about "Ruskin tomatoes"?  That is basically what the product of the agriculture side of Ruskin. Most of the agriculture land has been sold for residential development.  At the present time, Ruskin has some big community plan to build it like Key West type of community with mixed use and pedestrian friendly town center.  This is the vision for years to come.  This little town would not be little after this plan is implemented completely.  Maybe after all of this, Ruskin would be known just like Key West. Real estate in this part of town has been tremendously pretty busy.  It is still a quite little town, but not far from the major shopping areas.  I hope this has given you an insight of where Ruskin is and its history.  Any comments or input?
