SOLAR-4-RENT - 10/30/10 08:52 PM
While I was looking for information on wind and solar energy programs I discovered this great web site.  It has so much information on the site that I would not have the room on this short post to give all of the details.  The main concept of this company is a rent, lease-to-buy or purchase program.  The home page list the best solar programs with the features of each option.  The lease program on a solar lease program, first and last months rent to get started with a ten to twenty year lease based on which program you choose.  No up … (5 comments)

Who's Foot Is It Anyway ??? - 10/26/10 08:16 PM
While out in the country this past weekend I was taking a few pictures with an eye out for the un-ordinary subject.  Well, as I walked down a well worn trail in the river bottom I saw a large rock that appeared  to have an odd imprint in it.  Upon further inspection I found a foot imprint in the rock. The imprint was not your normal print and it was quite clear that it was not a man print.  The barefoot print is very square on the front ball area of the foot and the toes are more round than a human toe print.

The Cat & The Computer - 10/25/10 10:46 PM
I know that there a lot of really smart cats out there but can your cat operate the computer?  While one of our computers was on the couch with the screen saver doing it's thing our cat Jaggi got very interested in watching it.  No one was in the room with her and when I went back in the room she was setting there with her paw on the keyboard.  When the screen saver moved she pressed the key board and the computer home page popped up.  She was real interested at this time. I tried to get my camera before … (13 comments)

Beautiful Dragonfly - 10/25/10 05:59 PM
This little Dragonfly was trying to land on my sholder so when it found a spot on this bush along the Frio River I shot it, of course only with my camera.  I really liked the color of this one.  Also just below the Dragonfly I saw a leaf on the river bottom about three feet deep it sure shows how clear the rivers are in this part of Texas.

End of Season Swim on The Frio River - 10/25/10 05:46 PM
It did come a few weeks early, most of the time it would be around the 15th of November.  However it is a little cooler this year at this time of the year. But it had to come sometime. The last swim of the year on the beautiful Frio River in Frio Canyon.  Everyone knows what Frio means if not it means cold.  The totally spring fed Frio is even cold in the summer but one dive into the Crystal clear water and you don't even care and you warm to the temperature's very fast. Pictures below show a few hardy people … (4 comments)

Golf Joke - 10/20/10 07:55 PM
The usual Saturday four buddies were on the course a little late but the were able to get a ten o'clock tee time.  All was well after the group got started with everyone under par on the first hole and headed to the number two tee box.  The number two tee box was located very near the highway that went along the front of the course.   The first player 's tee shot was very good and straight down the fairway. As the number two player stepped up to the tee box and was just about ready to swing he stopped and removed his … (17 comments)

BEFORE AND AFTER... HOSPITAL BUILDING - 10/19/10 12:46 PM
These before and after pictures are of the Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital building in Kerrville Texas.  The demolition of this very large structure was started in early 2010 and completed October 16th.  The contract for the demolition was to be completed at the end of October.  The buildings were on the ground but there is still some ground work to complete the removal of the last part of the structure.
These photos were made from a distance just to show a different prospective rather than the close-up pictures that were made by the newspapers and other people.  I do have the close-up … (6 comments)

Plumber and The Brain Surgeon - 10/13/10 12:34 PM
This plumber had a very good business and plumbers have a very good and honorable place in our real estate world.  This plumber's wife worked for the top brain surgeon in a very large town and she had worked there for a long time.  However the plumber had never met the brain surgeon and had never been to his office at any time.
Well the surgeon had just moved into his new and very large home just in time for the Christmas Holidays. All of the employees at his office were invited to the office Christmas party.  The plumber dressed in his best new … (24 comments)

HOW TO CURE THE COMMON COLD - 10/04/10 10:53 PM

Yes, there are now cures for the common cold and it is guaranteed to work if the directions are followed.  There is a proven track record of thousands being cured of this seemingly difficult to cure virus.

However, the directions are different for people that live in different states.  I know that this sounds a little strange depending on which state you live in but believe me, this is the case.  The ones that live in the far North East states need to implement the directions sooner than the people that live in the Mid Western states.  This works … (14 comments)
