The stuff in the lower right hand corner is a pump at a gas station. It looks really odd in the picture, so I thought I would explain what it is.

We used a special cake pan that is shaped like a baseball cap. My wife bakes the cake(s) and I make the icing, fondant and do the decorating. It is very hard to get dark colors out of the icing. The colors on the cake look much light than what the photo shows. I was very happy with the way it turned out, since I only had about 2 hours to make all the icing and then decorate it.

Just a few more shots from our vacation. I enjoy watching sunsets over the ocean.
I watched the sun set every evening while on vacation. Nice and relaxing and it was a nice time spent with my wife on the 'patio' of our room. The kids watched TV during most of the sunsets, but I was able to get them to watch a few with us.

Wanted one shot without the tanker. That way I could compare later and see which one looked better. I don't have a preference, personally I just like the sunsets.

The pictures are not very good. Bought a cheap 35mm underwater camera. I couldn't get the flash to work most of the time, but these are the ones that are somewhat viewable.

I don't know the type of fish. He just had a nice blue multi-color.

They are a nice yellow because the flash worked this time. The background is actually colorful, but the flash doesn't go far enough to pick up the color.

I had never seen a Lionfish in the wild before. They have poison in their dorsal fin.

The sunset shots got better and better as the cruise went on. I would take 6 - 12 shots every night. These are some of the better ones, IMO.
This is the final shot as the sun disappeared that night.
The next few are from the following day. These are some of my favorites.



 THe color differences from day to day and even minute to minute were amazing.

I never woke up early enough to get a sunrise while on the cruise. I was able to get some really nice sunset shots. Below are a few of them. I have some that I like better and will post them in the future.

This one is a little dark to get a good sense of the boats, but it is one of the few with land or anything else in the scene.

These are from the cruise ship as we arrived in Belize. Did you know Belize has NO public beaches?
They send out a pilot boat to guide the cruise ship to its docking point. The cruises ships do not go to a dock, they just drop anchor(s) and you must take a ferry where ever you go.

My wife took this one as she and the kids were ferried into Belize. Their snorkeling excursion got cancelled because of high winds and strong currents.

'House' for instance, is feminine: 'la casa.'
