I now have a new title and yes I'm bragging and proud!

On December 7th, 2008 I was named the 2009 (TAA) Tennessee Auctioneer Association's Women's Bid Calling Championship Auctioneer.  Our winter convention, CE hrs and competition was held in Nashville, Tn and I have won 1st runner up the two times I have competited but this year was different. 

I recieved several nice prizes, a $100 check, TAA keychain, free membership for next year, large plaque with detachable auction gavel, and paid entrance fee for the National Auctioneer's Association competition.

The National's will be held July of '09 in Kanas and it will be tough, but the grand prize sure would be worth it......$10,000.... from what I hear.  So wish me luck this summer.  I'll have to keep counting trees and practice as I'm driving down the highway.  HA

We all had a great time! About everyone in the picture are auctioneers from Tennessee.  I believe during the fun auction we raised over $8,000 for St. Jude's Children Hospital!!!!!!!!!
