EXODUS 20: 8,9,10,11 Remember ths sabbath day to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour and do all thy work. But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God; in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thymanservant nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates. For in six days the Lord made heaven anf earth, the sea and all that in them is,and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and hallowed it. EXODUS 20;7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain;for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. Now since I am only posting this to Christianity and Real Estate and Spiritual Rain i am going to give everyone the benefit of the doubt that you are not running around taking the Lords name in vain. Instead i am going to rant about how many of us just sit back and don't say anything when someone else does. Many times have I seen people who would never consider blaspheming God stay silent (15 comments)

I would like to ask everyone to please read and reflect on this comandment from start to finish it may just cause some of you to rethink certain things. EXODUS 20:4,5,6 Thou shall not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above,or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them (10 comments)
BACK TO THE BASICS THE TEN COMMANDMENTS DAY ONE - 09/27/07 08:22 PM
Those of you who have come to know me through my blogs know by now that i like to quote scripture as it relates to our everyday life. Well what can be more relevant than Gods ten commandments.Thetrouble as se it is how many of us take the time to read the full version of the commandments as they are written in EXODUS as compared to the shortened bumper sticker version that we see ahnging on walls and religious decorations etc. I spent 10 years of my youth in parochial schools, was baptized was an altar boy was confirmed etc. (22 comments)
As Christian I think we are called to spiritual warfare everyday. Unless you live in a cave it should be obvious the demons that are society sends against us each and every day. Fortunatately as it does for everything else the bible has something to say about what is expected of us. ll TIMOTHY 2:3-4 You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. Noone engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life;that he may please him that enlisted him as a soldier. 1 TIMOTHY 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life,to which you (11 comments)

INTEGRITY - 09/22/07 03:36 PM
Integrity is a word we here thrown around quite often. I use it in my own advertising, and I have always tried to live with integrity. But what does it reaaly mean. In the Bible Job had integrity. Satan tried to throw him off his integrity, he used Job's wife and his friends, but Job would rather die than compromise the integrity of his heart. So what does God say about integrity. PSALMS 25:21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you. When we are in it for the long run integrity will preserve us during the tough times. PSALMS 26:1 Vindicate me o Lord, (11 comments)
When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them,"Let the little children come to me,and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Jesus loved the little children , because they represented what we all were in his eyes. He wanted us to become children of God and to look upon him as our father. He wanted love , respect, adoration and most of all obedience. We were given what most of us truly yearn for, a father who loves us unconditionally. But how do we show our gratitude. How do we treat our children. How (2 comments)

Thought I would watch a little television. Turned on Fox News and all the shows are talking about OJ. Same for CNN. I don't watch news on the big three anymore but I assume they will be on OJ also. I can't believe ghere is nothing else to report on. Just this week New Jersy had its monthly roundup of crooked politicians, where still in a war (9 comments)
HOW LUCKY WE ARE - 09/14/07 08:04 PM
PSALM 118:1 Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! His mercy endures forever. I had one of those days today . Very little sleep because of my knee acting up made me a little cranky. Ive been on another rant about how I wish all laywers would just dissappear, and my daughters boyfriend(Future husband and father of my grandson) lost another job. And it dawned on me how easy it is to make excuses when we find ourselves in less than christianlike moods. Now granted I am worlds better than i use to be and i know we are all works (10 comments)

PRAY FOR OUR LEADERS - 09/12/07 10:09 PM
Well 9/11 has come and gone, and I,m it passed safely. But there are still terrorists around the world plotting all kinds of murder and mayhem. We still have troops all over the middle east who are in harms way on a daily basis, and the airwaves are full of rhetoric. We are still over a year away from the presidential election and the nastiness is in full force. If name calling and nasty cartoons and loudmouth obnoxious pundits accomplished anything the world would be utopia. But obviously its not. So I have a suggestion, insted of nastiness how about praying for (7 comments)

NOW THAT WAS LABOR - 09/03/07 05:55 PM
GENESIS 1 1In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 24And God said," Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds; livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind."And it was so. 27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. How many times have you heard or said "I'll believe it when I see it". And how many times have you heard"Whats the matter don't you have any faith in me?". Deep down you know the answer (4 comments)
