THE POWER OF POSITIVE PRAYER

About a month ago I went in for a complete physical ( the first in about ten years). By and large I am in excellant health ( I,m sure in no small part because I have recently lost 45 lbs and reintroduced myself to the gym). The on set back was that the chest xray showed a nodule on the upper right lobe of my lungs. Now although I have given up tobacco about six years ago I was still a smoker for about thirty years. Two or three packs a day was not unusual for me. So quite hionestly the prospects of lung cancer were not a big surprise to me.

The doctor told me to schedule a cat scan and showed me the xray. I took it alot better than my wife LOL. My very first call was to my church to send out an email to the prayer chain. I also called a couple of friends including Nick ( no secnd name necessary). The outpouring of support was hearwarming and left me very emotional but the one thing i would not allow was any negative talk or negative praying in my pesence. Call me crazy but I was absolutely sure I was going to be okay. After all I knoiw I will not live one day longer or die one day before the Lord calls me home.

I was even joking with my sunday school class that the only thing that scared me was losing my hair. LOL

The day before the cat scan results came in I called a friend of mine and told him that the Lord put it on my heart the night before that when the Cscan results came in the spot was going to be gone.

Currently I work an overniht swhift but the next day I stayed awake all day waiting to hear from the doctors office. Now the knew I was a bit religious becuse when I was thewre I also had them fill out a form for my application to become amissionary and I had spoken to (witnessed ) to one of the nurses. When she called me she informed that the test had come back clear. When i asked her what that meant she was kind of laughing happily and told me that the spot was GONE.. I asked her if I needed any more tests and she just told me to be happyand accept the results that there was no explanation. I told her there sure was aND WE BOTH KNEW WHAT IT WAS .

GOD IS GOOD.

Well currently my license is with Weichert Referrals and I am back in foodservice. I am working the overnight shift six nights a week in the deli dept. of a very upscale supermarket. It pays the bills but those of you who know me know that is not where my heart is which is why I have just mailed off the application for my wife Eileen and myself to become fulltime missionaries at Childrens Bible Fellowship of New York.

I have inserted the link and hope you will check it out it is an amazing place. UI had been famuiliar with them because I have done some volunteer work with their urban ministry team (street preacing in the Bronx) but when I toured the camps I was overtaken. The work they do with disadvantaged youth and especially with the developmentally and physically chalenged youth and adults is simply awesome.

I always say that God talks to us but that most of us are too thick too listen, well I am listening. When I was shown the wheelchair accessible swimming pool I was so overwhelmed that I trulybelieve that not pursuing this would be akin to saying no to God.

There are many things to work out even if the application goes through. The issues withmy daughter , the chance I may be taking legal guardianship or my grandchildren, what to do with my home and of course raising support ( be prepared to receive your letters) lol.

But through it all I know that God is good and what seem like insurmountable tasks for me are notthing for God. So I am trusting in Him and believing that if this is truly where he wants me, He will make it happen. I can't wait to find out how it all works out.

I have finished my associates degree in Biblical studies bit the bachelors has been a struggle, overnight shifts are a difficult adjustment and of course I tried to keep up my various volunteer activities but sadly they have fallen off to.But through it all I have a wonderful wife who stays by my side, a great church family and a faithful God to whom I owe everything.

To all of my friends who may not have noticed the email notification, I have changed my email to hughkrone@gmail.com. I have had my old email address for many years and was very hesitant to change it but current events necessitate it. I have had my AOL account since we bought our first PC i think and although they had become very liberal I was very comfortable navigating and I have never been a big fan of change just for the sake of change.

But this week AOL announced they were purchasing the Huffington Post and hiring Arianna Huffington for a rediculous amount of money. I simply can not send money every month to any organization that has anything to do with the Huffington post.

In checking back it turns out that I id miss thr 90 cutoff by 9 days so my rainmaker status was removed. I thought I had mended most of the fences I had buldozed over inthe early days. But wasn't it fun whenI had the 10 straight days of bring back Bill Burress posts. I averaged well over 100 comments on each of them.

Of cource acusing certain big wigs of being anti Christian did not make me a beloved member to manmagement. I remeber becom ing a blogging maniac trying to reach top spot in my state only to have the memeber I was chasing win a contest that noone else could understand how she won.(I knew all along) and mentioned it. At one [point Rich told me I had more complaints filed against me than any other rainer because the didn't feel I should get points for putting up Bible lesson posts. These posts havelead toalot offriendships and also some occasional internet counseling seesions which made me relize I needed to bring some counseling courses into my studies.

Although I do honestly admit that there were more than a few times when I wasn't showing glowing Christian Character(One of the reasons I cut back) I was still a positive force to alot of people many of who I stay in contact with although they have left the rain.

But in the only aerea that really matters you can not tell me that the Lemming Wars were not good for business. Once those clowns from tomato radio or whatever they call them selves got a hold of it AR was an overnight interbet sensation. LOL I should have ambassador for lifejust for helping rid you ofsome of the crazies that used to inhabit the rooms Deep in side you knew yiou were hppy about that Bob look at how much more cicvil things have becone. Nick even featured a story about Karen Anne in silent majority( I will smack him when I see him LOL) So please Mr Stewart, I've kept up my part of the bargain, I've been a good boy, this is the first time Ive even mentioned lemings since I promised you I'd stop. Besides you just have to let me reach my goal of 500 posts without a feature. So fay my record is perfectRemeber I we here when 50000 members was a giant milestone and all the features were given to a group of ten or less membersI can't help it that I considered it my job to continuosly point that out. Back in the day when you really wanted me out all you would have had to do was give me one feature I would have went running for the hills

Now Iv,e just become a quiet old fat guy who likes to read my favorite bloggers and occaisionally write about whats on my mind.Kind of like Sardi but from a right wing wing nut perspective So please mr Stewart be a sport and reenstate me PPPLEAASSSSEE

PLEASE PRAY FOR THE RED HAIRED GIRL

I know I haven't posted in awhile, but this past thursday I had an experience that I just can't shake. For four days I have been praying and asking the Lord what He was trying to tell me but in retrospect I think I knew immediately.
I recently took a position as a driver for a laboratory. On any given day I may drive between 250 and 450 miles dropping off bottle orders and reports and picking up sample to be analyzed at the lab. This much time alone on the road gives you alot of time to think, which can be either a good or bad thing depending on what is going on in your life.
I have been pusuing a degree in Biblical Studies in the hope of being able to enter full time ministry, I believe with all my heart that this is what the Lord is calling me to do and I know that each new experience is just His way of preparing me, but there are times the road to accomplishing this seems endless. Lately a series of financial, physical and emotional occurrences had been taking its toll.
The other day I was sitting in bumper to bumper traffic when up ahead high on the embankment underneath a bridge I say this young redheaded women sitting on a couch. On a sunny 95 degree day you see many people outside especially in the cities and at first I thought nothing about it rather than it was a strange place to be hanging out. As I neared the overpass I realized that there were clusters of clothes and personal belongings scattered up and down the embankment on both sides of the highway and I realized that what I was witnessing was a homeless colony.From the looks of things there were probably dozens of people who slept here each evening," But she just didn't look like a homeless person".
As I came closer the next minute of my life was one that will be burned into my mind forever. At first I wondered why this attractive young women was not only staying in a homeless colony, she seemed to have the most choice position. I doubt she was a newcomer. Secondly I was frightened for her, as she sat there just staring out over the highway, rats the size of small dogs skittered past her feet and she didn't even budge.I was frightened to be 100 feet away in the car and she didn't even notice them. Then we made eye contact. I will be praying for this girl for the rest of my life. She may have been 19 or 45, she was beautiful yet frightening, I wanted to get away as fast as I could but all day felt that I should have just found someplace to pull over so I could help her. I don't know what I could have done but I felt so "lacking".
So yes, I do know what the Lord was telling me. He does have plans for me, He knows I want to make a difference, He's just not finished preparing me yet. So I'll keep on trusting, but I'd like to ask all or you,"Please" PRAY FOR THE RED HAIRED GIRL.

The Obama administration is making another assault on the constitution and personal privacy and liberties. It appears that it wants to make private companies turn over employee's and user's internet access records without a warrant, (and so many of you railed at Bush for wiretapping foreign origination phone calls).

Adding to its other recent actions at eliminating personal privacy, i.e. - declaring that cell phone users have no right to privacy, et al, the administration wants the FBI to be able to access private company records by simply adding 4 little words to the current list of what can be obtained without warrant: electronic communication transactional records.

If this happens, it will allow the FBI to demand ISP's and other private companies to provide individuals internet history to the FBI without a warrant, all under the guise of national security.

This adminstration, while, during the campaign, promised to increase national security while "enhancing" civil liberties, but it appears that the administration has a strange way of defining "enhanced" civil liberties. It has not only continued the policies of Bush, Clinton and previous adminstrations (although you only hear Bush mentioned), it has expanded government intrusion into our private lives in the name of security. And this doesn't even count the assaults under the guise of health care reform or financial reform.

But I am sure, even after this, there will still be those of you who will totally ignore the intrusions of this administration and continue to blame Bush.

Racism among Christians

We are all created in the image and likeness of God.And yes I am a creationist, I do not believe I evovled from anything I believe I am God's handiwork.Now brothers and sisters we need to stop spending so much time on the things that divide us. it is bad enoughwe battle between denominations we can not also have Christians dividing by race. If we are to accomplish the grat commission we need to move beyond that.
If we have a problem with a brother the bible tells us we are to straighten things out with that brother first. All who have accepted Christ have become one family,Christs body on earth. The bible says we will know them by their fruit and there are times I think some peoples Christianity needs to be question and searched for fruit.
I personally do not want anyone sent to eternal damnation because i was not bold enough to confront them. I think we are in a time where there are more and more false teachers with the anti-Christ spirit within them and we must challenge them at every turn.BUT it needs to be done as a Christian for the glory and honor of God and racism has no place in the equation.
Do not speak out of a place of racism nor avoid a confrontation because someone might accuse you of racism. Make sure you are speaking out of the heart of a Christian, be bold, be strong, but be loving.
The main thing I am trying to say is that during such a time as ours Christians need to be uniting under the banner of Gods desires for our lives and not separating because of some silly pact mentality which can only move you further and further away from the Lord.

Narrow is the path that leads to heaven and that path is thru Jesus Christ who is "The way , the truth, and the Life.

Has anyone noticed that destruction is hitting our country more often than at any point in our history. Earthquakes, tornados, hurricaneas, the never ending Gulf oil spill, terrorist attacks, Obama as president and a relenless attack on Christianity.

I believe that the Lord is slowly rmoving his hand of protection which we have enjoyed for so long. I also think that the final straw will be our desrtion of Israel. Prophecy tells us that at some point the world will be divided into thouse couintries siding with Israel and those countries sided against Israel, and it is obvious where we are headed.

There are many prophetic happenings going on throughout the world that make me believe that the Lord is getting ready to make his return.Unless we are able to start a major revival in this country and a turning back to the Lord I do not think we will survive in any way that we will recognize.

We need to turn off Oprah and pick up our Bibles.

But ultimately as real estate professionals we should all be working on closing on that one piece of land which is above all. I intend to have my spot in the New Jerusalem. I intend to see my Lord face to face.

But there is only one path to heaven and it is a narrow one. Fortunately it has been given to us as a gift if we only accept it. Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life and noone gets to the Father accept through Him

is the opportunity to meet and interview some amazing people like Herman Cain. One of my partners and I had that opportunity while we were in New Orleans for the SRLC. So, when I see a video such as the one below it gives me true hope in America.

Herman Cain lead a Q&A session at the Douglas County Tea Party when a young woman asked him about the attack by the Left on our Judea-Christian heritage in America. He addressed her question, then went to the last question of the night, and the crowd was not expecting what happened next.....

While Herman Cain is one of my heroes as you can see some of the real Heroes in our great country are everyday Americans who are standing up and speaking out. The Tea Parties across this nation are just the right forum to do this. The New Media movement is working hard to cover what the main stream media does not what you to see.

Mr. President, Like it or not you are the comander in chief

Dear Mr. Obama,

Everyone who works for a living has aspects of their job which they find less desireable than others. Some things that are inconvienient or maybe even agaisnt your moral belief system. If you a re a person of integrity and there is an aspect of your position with which you cannot reconcile yourself you leave. But as long as you are collecting a paycheck you owe it to your employer, yourself and mostly your God to fulfill your responsibilities to the best of your ability.

Mr. President, You are the commader-in chief of our armed services. Memorial day is the day we honor our fallen hereoes, the men who died to make it possible for you to be be president. The men and women who write that blank check with their lives in order to ensure our right as Americans to be jerks, if that is what we choose to be.

When you go on your apolgy tours andslap the face of proud Americans that hurst. When you bow to other leaders that brings a tear to our eyes. When you blame us for Mexico,s problems and speak to the graduating class of West Point as if they don't even matter any more it is just what we have come to expect from you.

But this is Memeorial Day weekend Sir and our commander in chief is expexted to spend at least part of his day showging respect for our fallen heroes. The men and women in Afghanistan and Iraq are niot getting a vacation this weekend. You would think that the small act of taking part of your day to participate in the tradinal role of the President would be an honor to you. Laying the wreath on the tomb of the unknown soldier should be thought of as an honor not a chore

Mr. President the way I see it you have two choices, either show our brave men and women that they have your support or bring them home, but don,t just leave them their fighting what {like it or not } is your war now while you wont even show respect for their fallen comredes.

Mr. Obama, I will continue to pray for you and do my best to respect the office of president because that is what God,s word commands of me, but i can't help but feeling your actions this weekend are a disgrace and a slap in the face to our military

The Church

What comes into your mind when someone says "The Church"? To many of us it seems that the first thing we think of is a building. To others it may be their denomination. But isn't the church really about being a part of the family of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common. And sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart. Praising God and having favor with all the people.And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. Acts 2:43-47 NKJV

Recently after spending a good portion of a day witnessing to someone, I was blessed when he told me that unlike others who had tried speaking with him before, he didn't mind listening to me because I was different (most who know me can attest to that, LOL), he says I didn't sound preachy. I told him that being a Christian is a lifestyle which should be expressed by actions rather than words.
So what happens when we become part of the family of God and allow Him to work through us to bring his grace to others on earth? For me it is seeing Gods love in action. Not just on grandiose levels but on personal levels. It is personal gifts and notes sent to me from people I have never met because they were touched by something I wrote. It is the member of my congregation that slips me money from time to time for no other reason than he knows I am experiencing difficult times. It is my wife's bible study teacher who has spent hours transcribing films because she knows my wife can not hear the dialogue. It is having friends who will drop whatever they are doing in order to pray with you.

To me " The Church" is the manifestation of Gods love on the earth.

Let me start by saying that I think there is a VERY good chance that Sarah Palin is going to be our next president and she will have the main stream media and the liberal elitists to thank for the win. Americans by and large do not like being told who we are allowed to like and what we are allowd to believe in. I figure Sarah is good for about a million votes just because of Joy Behar and David Lettman.

As much as those reasons alone would probably be enough for me it came to me last night while watching Bill O'Reilly interview her just why I like her as much as I do, SHE ACTUALLT CARES ABOUT THINGS. You can see it in her face she really isn't that great of a politician and I love her for it

Sarah Cares About

The rights of the unborn-Its not about appealing to a voting block, she and her family live it.

Special needs children-- not just her own

Her belief system--The Lord knows she has taken enough gruff.

Loyalty-- No matter how she may have been treated nor what was said about her she knows John McCain gave her her big break and she will campaign for him as much as he asks.

Her country--Disagree with her if you like but she doesn't change opinions with polls she speaks her mind and loves her country

Her faith--How many other pols have had their church burned down ( why are people so afraid od someone with morals and a stromg belief system)

Her family--None of us are perfect but say something about her children and she is all over you like white on rice

And finally ME-- this is the first time in my life I see a politician on the national level who I really believe care about me and my family and not just how to get our vote to win the next election.

Good thing there are no elected officials flying out of D C for any climate change conferences this weekend.Over 6,000 years and humans are still foolish enough to think that they can do anything to control nature. How often do we hear about the pagan goddess called mother nature or the all knowing god called science.

When was the last time any man or woman managed to stop a hurricane or an earthquake or a tornado, or a tsunami"I'll wait while you look that up?"

There is only one way that we can have any influence at all over these occurrences and it can be found on the Book of 2 Chronicles chapter 7 verse 14.

Butthen we would have to stop killing babies, stop worshipping false god,turn away from lives of immorality.

Of course there are many with hardened heart who will never repent and someday they will find out the true meaning of ETERNAL GLOBAL WARMING.

Prayer Request

It is not often that I will make a prayer request for myselfbut those of you who know me will understand. I have a job interview Monday morning and I am praying that this is where the Lord wants me for now. It would require an hour and a half each way on a bus and I,m not sure the salary is evev eenough to pay my basic bills but I want this more than any job i,ve ever applied for. The position is as an associate counselor with the Salvation Army in Manhattan. It's just a few blocks from Times Square and I know the Lord can use me to make a difference there.

Now I know some of you aremaking so much money that you really don't want to be bothered listing or showing rentals. But I would bet you wouldn't have to look very far for a Realtor who would not only take the listing they would do it correctly.

Today I was looking over my hot sheet and came accross an expired rental (180 days) that was in a nice area and maybe a little overpriced but not ridiculous. I thought I would take a look at the listing to see why and if it was worth pursuing. Under at least three quarters of the categories the only thing it said was "see remarks", the strange thing was there were no remarks to be found, nor were there room sizes, indoor pictures, ans as I know these units I am pretty sure they had the rooms listed on the wrong floors.

Besides for the fact that I,m pretty sure this realtor had never been inside the unit the little information I found was either exagerated or incorrect. What a surprise the unit wasn't rented.

Now call me crazy but I believe if you take on any job you should do it to the best of your ability or not do it at all. Everythting I do is for the glory of god.

So if you know of anyone looking to rent their home or if you are looking for a rental in Northern NJ, give me a call, I,m not "too good to do rentals" and you will get the service you deserve.

THIS POST WILL PUT ME OVER 300000 POINTS SO IT IS FITTING THAT iS BLOG ABOUT THE ISSUE WHICH MANY OF YOU KNOW IS SUCH A MAJOR PART OF MY LIFE. YESTERDAY I ATTENDED THE 37TH ANNUAL MARCH FOR LIFE IN WASHINGTON DC. LAST YEAR WAS RECORD BREAKING WITH OVER 300000 MARCHERS AND IT SURE AS HECK SEEMED MORE CROWDED YESTERDAY THAN LAST YEAR.

SO, MY WIFE AND MYSELF WERE UP AT 430 AT OUR CHURCH BY 530 IN DC BY 11:15 AND GOT HOME LAST NIGHT AROUND 1130 TIRED COLD ACHY AND THRILLED THAT WE WENT.

IT DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE, I THINK ESPECIALLY SO CLOSE AFTER THE SCOTT BROWN ELECTION LAST WEEK. OBAMA MAY BE THE MOST PRO ABORTION PRESIDENT WE HAVE EVER HAD BUT JUST MAYBE HE IS IN A LISTENING MOOD RIGHT NOW. OF COURSE THE DEATH OF OBAMACARE WAS A BIG AND HAPPY TOPIC OF THE DAY BUT THERE IS MUCH OTHER GOOD NEWS.

ALTHOUGH THE GENOCIDE OF THE UNBORN HAS TAKEN AND AVERAGE OF OVER 2.5 LIVES EVERY MINUTE SINCE THAT HORRENDOUS DECISION 37 YEARS AGO, WE ARE NOW IN A COUNTRY IN WHICH POLLS SHOW OVER 50% NOW THINK ABORTION SHOULD BE ILLEGAL. tHE MOST PROMISING STATISTIC IS THAT PRO-LIFE ATTITUDES POLL HIGHEST AMONG 17-25 YEAR OLDS.

New Year New Broker

Sometimes it is just time for a change and I felt this was the time for me. I have nothing but fond memories of my time wih Bill and leaving was not an easy decision, but I felt it was necessary for me. I have moved my license to Savva Realty of Cedar Grove. Jill Savva the broker and Gail the office manager are both short sale specialists and the brokerage is very involved in the REO market.

This does not mean I have changed though.Although thats not really true either, I have grown in many aspects over the past few years, especially in my walk with the Lord. So how does that affect my realtor abilities? These are difficult times for many, far too many homeowners are faced with decisions they woul rather not have to be making.

One of the things I am doing with my life is attending Bible College through distant learning, I hope to eventually go into full time ministry. My personal belief is that I do not make any decisions without praying on them first. I realize that not everyone will think that is important, but I also know there are many of you who feel he same way.

If you are looking for a realtor who shares your faith and values, one who is comfortable sitting and praying over a decision with you, I just might be the realtor for you.

Is Bill Buress the infamous Georgia? Don't know. Could be. Maybe not. No clue. Who cares? Has Georgia ever mentioned the word "Lemmings" in any of her comments? Don't think so. Maybe I might have missed it though. Is Georgia really from Georgia? Is Bill?

Does Georgia make good points when arguing against our liberal minded colleagues, just like Bill Buress did? Does Georgia use facts and logic rather than emotion when debating? Does Georgia do a very good job of pointing out flaws in the libs arguments? Did Bill?

Bill lives in Ohio and is probably pretty busy making money in his business. I don't know him personally, but I can't see a grown man acting like a woman, just to get someone all fired up.

Are there possible nervous breakdowns on the horizon that may be brought on by Georgia? Who knows. Who cares.

The point is that no matter if Georgia is Bill, or not, the infamous commenter is hitting some real high notes in the debates. If someone makes a good point, does it matter who they are or what they look like? I submit that they do not. A good point is a good point. Argue against the point, not the person.
