Why is City-Data.com so negative and anti-realtor? - 12/31/07 10:25 PM
The blogisphere is filled millions of people with more opinons than facts. A search for almost any topic these days will direct typically half or more of the results to blogs and forums where the answers may be credible. City-Data.com is one such popular site. A search for most cities around

Merry Christmas! You owe us $12,000. Pay us in 30 days. Sincerely, the IRS - 12/25/07 09:43 PM
Yep, just before Christmas I received a friendly Christmas greeting from the Internal Revenue Service noting that they never processed my 2003 federal tax return and because they haven't received payment for 4 years, I now owe $10,000 in penalties. Incidentally enough, this isn't the first time this has happened.

Are Homeowner Associations out of control? - 12/24/07 11:18 PM
The concept is a good one. With lot sizes growing increasingly smaller, the need for a uniform code is crucial to prevent a neighbor from devaluing many homes in a subdivision. We've all seen it driving around...the one house painted a bright, obnoxious color with a few cars in the
