The Cedar City Real Estate Market has several homes in Cedar City that were built in the 1980′s, one of these is the Bramblewood Subdvision. Bramblewood is located at the Northern end of Cedar City, near Interstate 15. Bramblewood like many of our subdivisions, in that it has duplex styled “twin homes” as well as detached single family homes. These have been popular with first time buyers and the twin homes have also been popular with investors.

Stillwater Estates is another great, newer subdivision in the Cedar City/Parowan Real Estate Market. It is West of Maple Springs, on the Southwest side of Parowan. Like Maple Springs it is accessible from 200 South which is what Exit 75 turns into off of Interstate 15.

I have mentioned before that one of the great assets in the Cedar City Real Estate Market is all of the smaller communities and cities that we work in. I am for today highlighting a subdivision is in Parowan, the Red Hills Subdivision. It is on the East side of Parowan near State Road 143. This is a nice subdivision in a really quiet part of town, this subdivision began in the early 1980′s but has had some newer homes built as well.

Another of the newer subdivisions in Cedar City/ Parowan Real Estate Market is Maple Springs. It is on the Southwest side of Town, and is what I would call a move up to a custom home subdivision. There are still several building lots available, they are .3 of an acre. The homes in Maple Springs are just gorgeous, most have basements and a square footage of about 2500 or larger. These are very nice homes, close to the mountains, and not too far from Brian Head.

The Cedar City Real Estate Market has several subdivisions with fewer than 25 homes. The North Field Addition Subdivision is one of those great smaller subdivisions. It was mostly built out in 2002, and is what I would call an upper starter home type of subdivision.

Tomorrow marks the last day of the 30th Annual Utah Midsummer Renaissance Faire in Cedar City. It is combined with the Street Festival and is always a lot of fun for everyone! The Midsummer Renaissance Faire has been going on since Wednesday at the Main Street Park. The Street Festival will be between 200 North and Center Street on Main Street.

One of the Great Subdivisions in the Cedar City Real Estate Market is Fiddlers Canyon. It is a large subdivision built in 9 phases at the Northeast part of Cedar City. It borders the Ashdown Forest Subdivision. Fiddlers Canyon mainly consists of move up style homes, but there are some custom homes, there are also some customized tract type homes. I should add that there are some twin homes as well, but it is mostly a “move up” subdivision.

One of the hidden gems in Cedar City for dining is the China Kitchen. It is hidden because it is located inside of the Texaco Station at 1075 West 200 North. The food is very good and the portion size is excellent. It has become one of my and Darcy’s favorite lunch stops.

The Cedar City Real Estate Market has some subdivisions that were hit hard by the economic Downturn. The Parks at Deer Hollow is one of them. It is a subdivision with some outstanding potential in a nice setting. The Parks at Deer Hollow is adjacent to the new Iron Springs Elementary School in Enoch. It is a subdivision with just a few homes that have been built.

This entry I am actually going to do 2 subdivisions in the Cedar City Real Estate Market. These two subdivisions were built and marketed at the same time. The subdivision and its sister subdivision are Sunset Canyon Estates and the Villas at Sunset Canyon Estates. This is a newer development built 2005.

We had a fire that caused a great scare in our community a few days ago. I drove by and took some photos, some I had to take while driving down Interstate 15, and to be honest, I didn't realize how much my windows needed to be cleaned. This fire was determined to be human caused, but in honestly this was one that I would call an honest accident, an overheated water well pump ignited and flashed to the dry grasses. Anyway here are some photos that I took earlier this week.
