The Positive to which this post references is in the following "News" seen locally this past week.One very dear to my heart is:Clinton Township's ribbon-cutting ceremony of yesterday, of a Macomb County Veterans' Treatment Facility.This center will offer counseling in many areas geared to assisting the Vet in assimilating beck into society after returning home from their deployments. As this is being typed---Sunday 9:00 p.m.--outside our Home the sky is that strange greenish-tone, & stillness that can precede a bad storm. We Dodged the Bullet, here in Macomb Twp., Macomb Co. Michigan.We did have snow: it did start Tuesday: it did come down ALL day & night; it did look bad for us in Macomb County; but it was only 7" in Macomb Twp, Macomb Co. MI.it was cold; it was windy; we had Wednesday as Shoveling day; we added Thursday as Remove the Blow-over day.But---We truly dodged that Bullet, once again, On this scale below, the listing of totals for years past'07-'08 / 75.5" = RED Zone'08- '09 / 65.6 " =ORANGE Zone'10 - '11 / to date/ varies between 28" - 30" - … (6 comments)

As we move into the last week of January 2010: we see:...Interest rates for 30 year fixed are still low. from the high of 5.16% on January 1, 2010 - the 23 January low of 4.78% ...Suburban Communities are taking it upon themselves to demolish blighted or condemned homes...Some areas are leaving the lots-cleaned and ready to sell when times improve...Many of the homes that are demolished will have the materials recycled...Most of the areas-to date-seeing the demolition are those that are close to the 8Mile Rd. Just some insights and updates of items of interest--WITHIN & OUTSIDE ofthe State of MICHIGAN: HERE: WITHIN our State:...Angels of the desert or Desert Angels founder - Louise Dooks/ Metamoraand 200 Volunteers packed "Miracle Boxes" for our Military overseas.The warehouse in Harrison Township--owned by Bill & Sheryl Jarvis--Jarvis Building Restoration Company, was the donated epicenter for the packages--named for Joseph Miracle, a soldier from Ortonville, who was killed while serving in the U.S. Military. Items from the 'silly-side' of our place here in Macomb County, Michigan..We really had Saturday down to a system......a.m.--shovel the over-blow from Fri. Nite..a.m.--feed the Birds, Ducks & 5 Squirrels..a.m.--feed the neighbor's cat [he comes to our "once Cat House" to eat & snooze]..noon-ish--pull Fridge & stove from their positions along walls; CLEAN behind & coils, if exposed..noon-ish--CLEANED, no exposed coils, really not much RIF-Raff of life either [no more pets= hair gone]..noon-ish--OLIVE Oiled all the Stainless appliances, toaster, bread box,/tissue cover, switches.
