Another Title Company office closed its doors today.
I came on board after the "boom" here in the NW. I joined the Real Estate industry after putting 6+ years in another very competitive and high profile sales career. While I have been able to apply what I already knew about being passionate about what you do, having a sense of urgency, and above all putting the needs of the customer above your own, I have also been fortunate to learn Real Estate fundamentals from very experienced and successful agents. I give great thanks to my mentors and to each classy and professional agent in Clark County that I have had the pleasure of doing a deal with.
I would assume that many title companies much like agents expanded to handle the surplus of business that experts saw a few years ago. It is much like stretching a rubber band, once you reach that point where you can't go any further, you let go. The band immediately snaps you in the finger and then resumes its original form. I would assume that most title companies are going back to their original strength.
Many will take this info and dwell on it, assume the sky is falling and flounder in the water flailing and splashing until they reach the point of exhaustion and give up. I however plan to take this time to hone my skills, expand my knowledge, and find new an innovative ways to provide the best service to my clients.
I am fortunate to still be developing new client relationships, and closing deals. I am very thankful for that. I plan to continue growing my business and will be here for buyers and sellers when the market resumes its form.
