Here are some realistic and valid reasons on why to sell now and not wait until January.
Get your home listed and sold so you are ready to move in January.

No, not even 75% of asking.
Yes, it takes 3-5 days to hear back from the bank no matter who you place your offer with.

Details are the key - 11/17/10 12:18 PM
Over the years, I have learned in real estate that details are the key to success. I have been lucky to have good assistants to help cover all the bases for me. Taking good notes and documenting each transaction makes such a difference in our professionalism and closing ratio.
Consistency and accountibility are so important. Follow up on emails, phone calls, text, etc. are so important and such a key to success in real estate.

Need help decluttering? - 11/14/10 10:27 AM
A little clutter is normal. It becomes critical when it creates chaos in your life or business, is a health or fire hazard, or when important papers are impossible to find in the piles.
Clutter is caused by postponed decisions. People place paper in a pile to deal with it later and that's when clutter is born.
Here are some simple solutions:
Make files, not piles. Start with broad categories like 'clients', 'automotive', insurance. Within each category file alphabetically - DMV, Repairs, Mileage in the Automotive file.
