Here in La Quinta, we are known as a resort, desert and golfers paradise.  We have people relocating from thousands of miles away and besides price, and views they always ask about neighborhoods.  Being that everyone is different in what they like, dont like I always try to give them guidance but never influence their decision.  After all, they have to live where they buy, not me.  It will not be the end all beat all, but it helps.

I have found one of the main pieces of information I find out from people before I show them houses is what type of light environment they like in their home. Do they like warm and sunshine or more cool and shady and dark? Are they home during the day or more at night? Often I found I can show a usually bright home on a cloudy day and people reject the home, thinking it is dark and it is the weather, not the home.
