Fall is in the air and winter is right behind it!  Is your home ready for a bit of cold weather?

 Now is the time to...

1.  Walk around the outside of your home and close off foundation vents.

2.  Replace broken storm windows.

3.  Make sure your garden hose is disconnected.

4.  Keep gutters free of leaves and debris.

5.  Make sure you change the filter on your heat & air unit.

6.  Check for leaks in windows. vents, pipes.

7.  Don't forget the vents on the roof and pipes for the plumbing.

If any of these things are causing air to enter your home...you are letting money fly out the window!

I spent about 6-7 hours sifting thru dirt at this state park this summer!  And didn't find so much as a diamond speck!!!
