What does one have to do to get a phone call, e-mail and text messages returned?  I've been waiting to speak with a Realtor for 4 days now and guess what - I'm still waiting.  Oh, did I mention I wrote a full price offer of a property that was listed not more the 3 hours - yeah, 3 hours.

Help me understand this hibernation game and silent treatment.  I'm deeply saddened by the chain of events from my colleagues; however, NAR studies have shown that the biggest complaint buyers have is the lack of respone to inquiries from Realtors®. 

For those true professionals or Rookie Realtors®, please help me to raise the bar by incorporating into your business practice a system to return all calls, e-mails and text messages within 24 hours or sooner.

The Baltimore chapter of the Women's Council of Realtors® had it's monthly meeting this morning at the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors®.  Social networking was one of the topics discussed today and Active Rain was among the short list of social networking sites.  We were graced with the presence of Margaret Rome, who was referred to as the "GURU" of Active Rain.  Actually, Margaret was the driving force for me joining last year because of her presentation at yet another WCR meeting.  There were many success stories shared and this particular site got rave reviews from those in attendance who are currently on Active Rain.

So, here I am getting into the fold again.  I tried blogging last year and received comments from my initial blog and then I just fell asleep at the wheel.  Okay, I'm awake now. 

Oh, by the way Susan Myszkowski and Marney Kirk did a phenomenal job!

I'm back on the blogging scene.

During a recent conversation with my colleagues about the number of hours we work on a daily basis, I said I couldn't dream of working less than 18 hours?  They all looked at me as if I was being unreasonable or fabricating the truth.  Well the truth of the matter is, I do.  Does this mean I'm addicted to my work and don't have balance?  I love what I do and by-the-way, I do take time out for myself and family.  How much time do you spend on a daily basis running your business?
