NEW YEAR'S DAY - A DAY OF ROSES AND MUSIC - 01/01/10 10:46 PM
 
The first day of the year is always a day of roses and music for me.  I watch the Tournament of the Rose parade in the morning and then the New Year's Celebration in Vienna in the evening.  This is probably the only day I watch TV most of the day.  I don't usually watch TV but on New Year Day, I indulge myself.  
I was awed by the spectacular rose parade this morning and the flowers on those floats were phenomenal and beautiful, I could almost smell the fragrance.  Capt. Chelsey "Sully" Sullenberger was the Grand Marshall and the theme this year is "Cut Above … (4 comments)
