We're only a month into the winter months in Brookville and Oyster Bay area and officially have two more months to go and we have had enough of the snow. I'm tired of the freezing cold and the constant snow. I see we'll have more snow on Tuesday and Wednesday. I look out the window and I see my roses are all covered with snow. Will they be fine? What do you do when the weather condition outside is frightful? It has been snowing since this morning. It is now after midnight and we must have at least 10" of snow outside. I understand some areas are getting 3" of snow every hour. Channel 4 said the wind was recorded at Islip, NY in Long Island at 64 mph. I know it must be very strong because I can hear the wind howling. We got the alert call from the Town Supervisor this afternoon about the Blizzard Advisory. I found this photo while I was sorting some of my stuffs for my move to my next home. My dog, Jake, loved and enjoyed the last winter when there were plenty of snow to play around. With the heat wave going on for the last three weeks, he looks tired and weary. All he does all day is lie down on the rug and sleeps.
